Physics Program Overview

Overview

Physicists explore and identify basic principles governing the structure and behavior of matter, the generation and transfer of energy, and the interaction of matter and energy. Most physicists work in research and development but may also design research equipment or work within engineering disciplines.

  • Designed to provide the general education courses that are required to transfer to a university for bachelor's degree completion  

Requirements

  • Students are required to work with their Faculty Advisor and Transfer Coordinator to determine course schedule and ensure transferability to the intended college or university.
