As a 1983 graduate of Gogebic Community College, it is my distinct pleasure as the President to welcome you to this educational gem in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan! GCC is where you can pursue your dream career in Ironwood, Houghton, or online.

We have many opportunities to pursue, whether it is an occupational program, training from one of our local business partners, or an associate degree to transfer to a four-year institution. Not only can you get a top-notch education, but you can live in a pristine, four-season area, full of adventure and outdoor activities.
The sky is the limit when it comes to pursuing your goals in Ski Area Management, Education, Engineering, Business, Welding and so much more. I invite you to meet our professional, experienced, and passionate staff and faculty. They are here to guide you to an amazing future.
Where else can you ski, snowboard, snow tube, or ice skate on your own campus? Maybe you want to try out student clubs and activities or be a member of the GCC’s volleyball, basketball, or E-sports teams? With two campuses close to Lake Superior and its beautiful beaches, ski hills, along with miles of hiking, biking, and cross-country ski trails, there’s never a lack for outdoor adventure. We have what you are looking for in and outside of the classroom!
