Emergency Medical Technician Continuing Education
The Gogebic Community College Emergency Medical System Program offers Continuing Education for Emergency Medical Responders (EMR), EMT Basic, Advanced EMT’s, and Paramedics. All CEU’s are approved by the State of Michigan Division of EMS and includes all 30 required CE’s.
Applicants will have the opportunity to join the EMT Basic class during the session of their choice to obtain the Continuing Education Credits required for re-licensure. Theory sessions are offered in person in Ironwood at the Gogebic Community College Campus in room A107. Theory sessions can also be attended via ITV at Aspirus Ontonagon or Aspirus Keweenaw in the conference room. Practical sessions must be completed at the Ironwood Gogebic Community College Campus, room A113.
The course is taught by two highly trained professionals, Bob Kirkley and Cory Roell. Students must apply and pay prior to attending class. Certificates of completion will be emailed to participants after successful completion of the session.
