Associate of Arts
This program is designed for those interested in pursuing an associate of arts degree, but have not yet chosen a field of specialization. The specific courses taken will be dependent on student interest. If you follow the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA) you are guaranteed to have your credits accepted to a university in Michigan that is operated by the state. This program is also transferable to other four-year institutions outside of Michigan. Please contact the Transfer Coordinator for specific transfer questions: firstname.lastname@example.org.
The following are the required courses necessary to receive an Associate of Arts in General Education.

|Electives of any transfer category to get to 63 credits||63|
Humanities: The two required Humanities course must come from two different disciplines, excluding studio and performance classes.
Social Sciences: The two required Social Science courses must come from two different disciplines.
Natural Sciences: The two required Natural Science courses must come from two different disciplines. One must include laboratory experience.
Communications: Students will take one course in English Composition and a second course in English Composition or one course in Communications.
