Power up thinking. Shut down anonymity.

You are not a "number" here. Our rare student-to-faculty ratio of 15:1, plus unique opportunities, equals unparalleled quality, value, and voice. Controlled, small class sizes and personal attention provide an excellent education for your investment. As an extension of this commitment to excellence, Gogebic Community College developed Honors Classes to respond to the needs of advanced students for greater academic challenge and intellectual stimulation. The ACES Academic Support Center provides academic assistance in all subject areas through many avenues including personal or group counseling and computerized tutorials. Our Return to Learn program addresses the needs of non-traditional students, and online degrees are available to anyone.

Cut to real-world experience. Paste yourself into world-class opportunity.

Where else can you fish Lake Superior's shores in the morning, and hit the slopes by noon? On-campus, college-owned and operated Mt. Zion recreational facility provides real world experience in Gogebic's Ski Area Management program. It boasts nine runs, three lifts, a cross country ski trail, a terrain park, and a tubing park with three chutes. The program is one of the nation's most comprehensive, with on-site training and internships "out west." Plus, there are four additional ski resorts within 20 miles. Taking advantage of our location and hands-on approach, other courses of study boast similar real-world training. Find access to a world of information in Gogebic's state-of-the-art Learning Resources Center which holds reference materials, enhances classroom capabilities, facilitates internet learning, and provides computer research tools. While the campus is the perfect combination of core learning and fun rejuvenation, several classes (even full degrees) are offered online.

Small campus. Big thinking.

Opportunities to meet legislators and people of influence, voice your opinions, debate current issues, and power up your thinking are scheduled regularly. A few examples… Gogebic students have: debated health care with their congressman; simulated an election process; and received advice on goal accomplishment from a Coast Guard Rear Admiral.

Save money. Delete worry.
