GCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association and Region XIII. Competition is mainly with other two-year colleges in Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, as well as with various four-year colleges and universities.
The intramural program at GCC provides opportunities for competition in a variety of seasonal sports. The program consists of touch football, volleyball, basketball, softball, tennis, golf, bowling, and archery. Other sports are offered according to student interest.
Mt. Zion Ski Hill
Mt. Zion is a fully-operational alpine ski area located directly adjacent to the campus. GCC students carrying a minimum of 10 credit hours qualify for a free season's pass.
